Deadline: 2 November 2022

Volterra Fietta (the public international law firm) and King’s College London (the Department of Geography) are delighted to announce that applications for the 2022 London International Boundary Conference (“LIBC”) Scholarship are now open.

The organisers are inviting government officials, diplomats, academics and others with a interest in international boundaries to submit a 250-word long cover letter written in English and indicating their motivation to attend the LIBC.  Applicants should also include their name, title, affiliation and contact details.

This year, successful applicants will be invited to attend the two-day event free of charge.  The Scholarship will not cover travel and accommodation expenses.

Applications should be sent to info@londoninternationalboundaryconference.com by 2 November 2022.

The LIBC will take place on 12 and 13 December 2022. The upcoming event will take a hybrid format, with the first day of events taking place in-person at King’s College Stamford Street Lecture Theatre, located south of the river in the Waterloo Campus (127 Stamford Street, London SE1 9NQ).  The second conference day will be held fully online. The 2022 LIBC will provide a unique and multidisciplinary insight into the complex world of international boundary and territorial questions.  Like previous LIBC conferences, the LIBC speakers and participants are drawn from the fields of law, social sciences, physical sciences and diplomacy.
