Robert Volterra

Robert has been recognised for many years in the global legal directories as one of the world’s top public international law practitioners. He is qualified as a barrister in Canada and as a solicitor-advocate in England and Wales. He is a Visiting Professor of International Law at University College, University of London, where he has taught the international law of foreign investment for almost 20 years.

Peter Flint

Peter is qualified as a solicitor of England and Wales. He holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Oxford. Peter has a particular focus on international arbitration, cross-border litigation and ADR. Over his career, Peter has been advisor to governments and commercial parties in connection with international disputes of a global nature in a wide range of jurisdictions around the world.

Gunjan Sharma

Gunjan is a New York-qualified attorney who specialises in international dispute resolution, advising clients on complicated issues of public international law and counselling clients on how to protect their overseas investments. He holds a Jurisdoctorate from New York University School of Law, and a Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service from Georgetown University, Washington, D.C.

Ahmed Abdel Hakam

Ahmed is a Solicitor-Advocate (Civil and Criminal Higher Rights of Audience) before the Higher Courts of England & Wales and a French Avocat (Avocat au Barreau de Paris). He currently sits on the Dispute Resolution Committee of the Law Society of England & Wales and is Co-Chair of the Dispute Resolution Section of the African Society of International Law.

Angela is an Australian-qualified lawyer specialising in public international law and international dispute settlement. She is ranked by Legal 500 as a “Rising Star” in public international law. She has gained a stellar reputation acting for both claimants and respondents in high-stakes, high-profile investment treaty arbitrations.

Margarita Adadurova

Margarita is a Russian-qualified lawyer and a UK Government Chevening Scholar. She holds an LLB degree with honours from the National Research University Higher School of Economics and an LLM degree from the Russian School of Private Law.

Kobby Afari Yeboah

Kobby is qualified as a barrister and solicitor in Ghana. He holds an LLB from the University of Ghana and an LLM from Harvard Law School with a focus on international and corporate law. Kobby has both academic and corporate work experience.

Naomi Agbessi

Naomi is called to the Bar of Paris (France). She holds a Master degree in both private and public international law from the University of Jean Moulin Lyon III and an LLM in international and comparative dispute resolution from the Queen Mary University of London.

Zaid Al-Hafiz

Zaid holds an LLB from Prince Sultan University and an LLM from City University of London, where he concentrated on corporate governance and international investment law. Before joining Volterra Fietta, Zaid worked at the Bureau of Experts at the Council of Ministers in Saudi Arabia.

Divya Behl

Divya is an India-qualified lawyer and was called to the Bar of England and Wales in 2024. She has over four years of experience in dispute resolution. Divya holds an LLB from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University and a BCL from Oxford University.

Nkasi Blair

Nkasi is a Caribbean-qualified attorney-at-law called to the Barbados Bar. She holds an LLB from the University of the West Indies, Cave Hill Campus and an LLM in Public International Law from the University of Manchester.

Ben Burnham

Ben is qualified as a solicitor in England and Wales and an attorney at law in New York. He has over thirteen years’ experience in international dispute resolution, having acted for corporations, high net worth individuals and States or State-owned entities.

Anass is a Spanish-qualified lawyer called to the English Bar. He holds a Licence en Droit (إجازة في القانون) and a Masters in International Trade Law from the University of Abdel-Malek Essaadi, Morocco.

Adrian González

Adrian is a Mexican-qualified lawyer with over four years of experience in litigation and dispute resolution. He holds an LLB from Universidad Panamericana and an LLM in Public International Law from the University of Oslo.

Jaideep Khanna

Aleksandr is a Russian-qualified lawyer holding LLB and LLM degrees with honours from Lomonosov Moscow State University, as well as an LLM from the University of Cambridge. Before joining Volterra Fietta, Aleksandr spent three years working at leading international and Russian law firms in Moscow.
