Carolina is a Colombian-qualified lawyer with over eight years of experience in complex dispute resolution. She holds a law degree from Rosario University in Colombia and an MSc in Behavioural Science (Distinction) from the London School of Economics.
Prior to joining Volterra Fietta, Carolina worked as academic co-editor of a publication on litigation before International Tribunals, examining the Interamerican Court of Human Rights, ICJ, ICC, WTO and ICSID. She then worked for three years at a leading law firm in Colombia, where she advised and represented clients in national litigation and international arbitration. Carolina also served as a legal clerk at the Colombian Council of State for five years, and as a research assistant at the LSE diagnosing patterns of cognitive bias and communication breakdown.
