Aleksandr is a Russian-qualified lawyer holding LLB and LLM degrees with honours from Lomonosov Moscow State University, as well as an LLM from the University of Cambridge.

Before joining Volterra Fietta, Aleksandr spent three years working at leading international and Russian law firms in Moscow. He advised clients in both international and domestic arbitrations under LCIA, SCC, ICAC (Russia), and UNCITRAL rules. Aleksandr has acted in financial, energy, and shareholder disputes involving issues governed by the laws of Russia, England and Wales, Poland, Sweden, and other jurisdictions, as well as the CISG. Aleksandr also has experience in banking and finance and has assisted colleagues with various matters related to mergers and acquisitions.
